Lori has been working in the field of addiction since 1990, she is a licensed alcohol/drug counselor and minister. Lori came into the field after 20 years of employment as an illustrator/designer and is currently counseling in the community outpatient program at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge (MnTC). She has been instrumental in the development of a faith-based outpatient treatment program and its curriculum, support group ministries, training leaders, and assisted in church plants for 23 years before moving to MnTC. She was inspired to work in this field because of her experience with addiction and recovery. Lori finds her job rewarding because she has the opportunity to walk along side of others in their journey to recovery. She is passionate about helping others find God’s will for their life. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, being creative, hiking and snorkeling, and connecting with family and friends.
