You will gain understanding and experience while working with clients who suffer from addiction and co-occurring disorders.  You will be assigned a seasoned professional who will provide guidance to assist you in developing skills and knowledge needed for your field.

Our clinical internship is intentionally designed to prepare you for real-world practice — not just observation. Interns receive structured onboarding, high-quality supervision, hands-on clinical experience, and meaningful client interaction across multiple levels of care.

As an intern at Mn Adult & Teen Challenge, you will:

  • Lead and co-lead clinical groups
  • Conduct assessments
  • Develop DHS-required competencies
  • Receive high-quality, engaged supervision
  • Be gradually challenged at an appropriate pace
  • Feel prepared to work independently upon completion
  • Be supported within a strong values-driven culture

If you’re looking for an internship that challenges you, supports you, and truly prepares you for the field — we would love to connect!  To begin applying for an internship, please complete the form below.
