MnTC Choir
One of the most well-known and powerful ways Mn Adult & Teen Challenge reaches the community at large is through our client choir. Each weekend local churches welcome men and women from our long-term programs to share their testimonies, sing worship songs and fellowship with your congregation. Throughout the year, our MnTC choir ministers to a wide variety of churches throughout Minnesota.
During services, we can share a hope-filled solution to the intimidating statistics behind addiction. This will give your congregation simple ways to get financially, practically and prayerfully involved in transforming lives.
I find joy in singing and worshiping.
When I sing, God speaks through me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our choir involvement at your church is an opportunity to highlight Christ’s message of redemption and restoration. On Sundays, we bring clients to churches around the state to sing worship songs and share testimonies. This is an integral part of our client’s recovery, as they are given the opportunity to share what God has done in their lives. These visits are powerful and enriching to all who attend. How many clients will sing in the choir?
We’re happy to send whatever size choir you’re willing to host!
Will there be men, women, or both in the choir?
We typically send a men’s choir OR a women’s choir.
How long will the program be?
We request a minimum of 30 minutes of “ministry time” during the service to share songs and testimonies.
What technical needs should our church be prepared for?
To help sound check and the service run smoothly, we ask for someone from your church to run the sound system. Our music tracks are available on a flash drive that we can bring that day or can be sent ahead of time via DropBox. We also request 2 microphones, 1-2 monitors, and a six-foot table in the main lobby for our display board and brochures.
Is a love offering required?
We do ask for the opportunity to take a separate love offering during the service for MnTC. As a ministry we do not desire to take away from what is typically given to the local church on a Sunday service, however, we rely on private donations to help fund our programs.
Is our church required to feed the choir?
This is not a requirement, but many clients and congregants say this is their favorite part as they can then have time to have one-on-one conversations and prayer with our clients.
Thank you for your willingness to highlight Mn Adult & Teen Challenge at your church! Our hope is to encourage your congregation by testifying to God’s healing power in the lives of our clients and to help others see that through Him, they too, can overcome their struggles.
Are the testimonies kid-friendly?
The clients will share addiction content in their testimonies. Parents will need to decide based on the individual needs of their child if it’s appropriate for them to hear.
What does a typical testimony sound like?
You can view testimonies on our stories page to get an idea of what the testimonies will sound like.
