Our long-term residential recovery program for men and women is 12+ months, and is divided into four levels; each designed to build on the foundation of the previous. Clients work to overcome self-destructive patterns associated with their substance use while receiving co-occurring mental health support and counseling.
This program serves men, women, and teens (over 16 years of age), utilizing evidence-based practices such as the 12-Steps, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and integrated mental and chemical health services. A faith-based track is available upon request. The multidisciplinary staff approach is motivational, strength-based, and relationally focused. We also offer life-skills development to enhance client’s coping and social skills. Most stays range from 14-90 days.
Clients are provided with a supportive community, a faith-based track (available upon request), and multiple payment options including self-pay, insurance, or county funding. The program is approximately twelve weeks; the initial phase is three evening groups a week and the transitional phase is one evening group a week.
Lakeside Academy is a faith-based residential treatment center for boys aged 13-18 years, who are heading down the wrong path due to substance use, anger management, and other behavioral issues. Set on 48 acres in the Buffalo, MN area, Lakeside Academy offers licensed treatment, mental health and other counseling services, and onsite education including conventional, online, and project based learning – all in a camp environment.
Know the Truth is a substance use prevention program targeting teenagers in Minnesota. We speak to over 58,000 students per year in over 160 high schools and middle schools throughout the state. Our program is built on evidence based principles. Using a peer to peer format, our presenters share their personal stories and struggles with substance use, stripping away any glamour or myths that may exist.
