Clinical Trauma Interventions & Scriptural Integration

Clinicians across behavioral health disciplines frequently encounter clients with complex, multi-layered trauma histories that exacerbate neurobiological dysregulation, systemic breakdown, co-occurring addictions, and spiritual distress. This advanced webinar provides a framework to assess and treat trauma across pre-crisis, acute crisis, and post-trauma resolution phases.
Participants will analyze trauma typologies—acute, complex, relational, and moral injury—through real-world survivor case studies. The curriculum integrates evidence-based modalities (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, CBT) with scriptural paradigms to ethically support clients utilizing faith as a core coping mechanism. Finally, clinicians will identify risk factors for vicarious traumatization and compassion fatigue, leaving equipped with an actionable sustainability plan for high-acuity practice.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate Trauma Typologies: Categorize acute, complex, relational, and moral trauma via survivor case studies.
- Evaluate Untreated Outcomes: Analyze the neurobiological, systemic, and addiction-related sequelae of unaddressed trauma.
- Master Stage-Based Protocols: Implement clinical interventions for pre-event resilience, in-crisis stabilization, and post-trauma integration.
- Integrate Faith & Science: Apply evidence-based modalities alongside spiritual frameworks for faith-congruent care.
- Mitigate Vicarious Traumatization: Formulate a personal boundary and self-care strategy to prevent burnout in high-acuity practice.
