Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge provides a level of care that is unmatched in terms of program length and cost compared to other area programs. Helping people recover from addictions is not a business venture for us; we believe it is our calling.
It costs Mn Adult & Teen Challenge approximately $2,426 per month for every teen and adult client that enters the program. While this amount is considerable, it is only 10-20% of the cost of other treatment programs, with some costing as much as $24,000 per month.
Unlike other programs, we only ask our clients to pay a small portion of the actual costs with the vast majority not paying anything out-of-pocket. The generosity of our donors and partners allows us to remain one of the most affordable recovery options in the state.
Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge works hard to remain financially accountable, accurate, and responsible. We are audited annually by independent auditors. We use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. In 2011 the Charities Review Council named us one of the "Most Trustworthy Non-Profits" for our financial accountability standards. We maintain membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. Our Board of Directors is thoroughly involved in overseeing the finances at Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge.
