13-15 month Life Care Program
For Adults
13-15 Month Residential Drug and Alcohol Addiction Program

This faith-based residential program assists individuals in continuing recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and the life-controlling problems associated with it. In addition, residents work on overcoming rebellion and the self-destructive behaviors associated with their substance abuse and developing positive life skills. Residents participate in spiritual growth activities, individual counseling, and choir.
Work Study
Through our adult work-study program, residents have the opportunity to develop a strong work ethic while learning new skills and the importance of teamwork and a good attitude. Work study consists of tasks such as administrative tasks, kitchen clean-up, laundry, janitorial duties, simple maintenance projects and other group chores. These activities help residents understand personal responsibility for their own living space and the importance of serving others.
Recreation Activities
Recreational activities both on and off MnTC property are provided to residents during their leisure time. Activities vary depending on the season. They may include visits to sporting events, plays, zoos, city and state parks, and a variety of other events. To help residents stay healthy and physically fit, MnTC provides a recreation room equipped with exercise and weight lifting equipment and a variety of other games (pool, ping pong, foosball, volleyball).
Program Structure
This drug and alcohol addiction recovery program consists of four levels, all focusing on spiritual and emotional wholeness. Each level has a distinct focus to encourage the resident's growth.
Level One (14 weeks)- Recovery
Residents attend classes that emphasize recognizing and changing destructive thoughts and beliefs, understanding the basic needs they were attempting to fulfill through chemical use, and learning practical tools that equip them to change their lives.
Level Two (12 weeks)- Renewal
Residents participate in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual work that it takes to heal the wounds of past failures, broken relationships, spiritual deceptions, and issues with their own identity that are often at the root of chemical addiction.
Level Three (12 weeks)- Restoration and Healing
Residents learn more about God’s design and how to enter into a future that is free from the oppression of old wounds, creating a solid foundation for the future, and identifying and utilizing their unique gifts and talents.
Level Four (12 weeks)- Re-entry
Residents begin taking practical steps toward putting what they’ve learned into action by securing employment and housing, participating in effective management of their time and resources, and by learning how to become leaders who give back to the families and communities they are re-entering.
