TWIN CITIES PROGRAM
Job Coach’s
Job coaches are needed to provide guidance for students in Level 4 who are working on resumes’ and job interview skills. Coaches will walk with and mentor students in most areas of perusing employment upon graduating MnTC. Coaches can review resumes’, interview skills and career choices. Coaches are needed for about 1-2 hours bi-weekly per student.
Appointment Drivers
Volunteer divers needed to take students to and from appointments, doctor visits, job interviews, and legal maters. Volunteers have to be at least 25 years of age, have to have a clean driving record (driver background checks will be run), and they have to not be taking any medications that may interfere with their driving capability. Drivers will also need to go through a behind the wheel training course which includes watching a DVD regarding driving 15-passenger van and a skills course with the vehicle maintenance director. Successful completion of this course as well as the recommendation of the VH maintenance director is required.
Tutors
Reliable individuals needed to provide one on one tutoring in high school subjects to program students. Weekday afternoon or evening hours available.

Mentors
We are looking for mature men and women of God who have a passion to be disciple makers. We are asking for a commitment of two Saturday afternoons a month, however, the deans do make allowances for mentors to see their students on an alternate night of the week if Saturdays are not possible. Christian Education Program
PT individuals needed to help review self-study assignments , assist with scripture memorization, and build relationships with students. Later morning hours.
Program Staff
Assertive men and women needed to supervise, provide leadership to, and develop mentoring relationships with students in our residential program. A good driving record is required. FT/PT day, evening, night, and weekend hours available.
Administrative
PT individuals needed to help with photocopying, putting manuals together and other light clerical work. Volunteers can contribute their time anytime Mon-Thurs 9-5. (2 days a week/ 4 hrs a day)
Recreational
Individuals needed to go on walks with students or lead them in crafts such as sewing, art, scrap booking or other creative projects. Evening hours.
Personal trainer/Fitness instructor
Personal trainers for both the men’s and women’s program to come to our Teen Challenge locations once or twice weekly. Working with students to teach proper techniques in weight training, along with nutrition ideas.
Regional marketers
Volunteers needed to work with our Program and Marketing Manager getting the word out about Minnesota Teen Challenge and the program. Placing materials about Minnesota Teen Challenge in your area, in places like libraries, doctor’s offices, coffee shops, grocery store and community boards around in general areas.
Pastor/Church leader for teaching
TCMI (Teen Challenge Ministry School) is looking for a teacher for a teaching leader/pastor to teach between the hours of 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the ministry school. Teaching biblical understanding to ministry school students.
Accountant financial accountant
Looking for volunteer to help with accounting and financial help in TCMI (Teen Challenge Ministry School). Help with accounting, purchase orders and basic book keeping skills. Hours are flexible and around 2-4 hours a day Mon-Fri.
Teacher assistant
Academy is looking for a person to correct math and science papers for students. Also tutoring students would be great as well. Hours would 2-4 pm Mon-Fri. Basic math and science skills are needed, we do have answer keys to do correcting.
