Every year KARE 11 picks 11 people who have made a difference and this year a special friend of Teen Challenge’s is one of those people! For the past 12 years, Irene, (A.K.A. the “Cookie Lady”), has baked 50 dozen cookies EVERY week for the residents at Teen Challenge…that’s how much she cares! She will be on KARE 11 several times this weekend including a scheduled LIVE appearance on Monday morning around 11am.
