Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge has annual events to fit the tastes of just about everbody. Whether you enjoy a morning on the lake, an afternoon on the golf course, or an evening at one of our galas, you will find an opportunity to come together with others like you to support Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge and celebrate the freedom that our residents have found from their addictions.
Annual Events
Al Lindner hosts our annual Fishing Challenge at Gull Lake in Brainerd, MN. Trophies are awarded Walleye, Bass, Pike, Panfish or the popular “mix bag” category. This is a great opportunity to do something you love while helping raise awareness and support for people struggling with addiction!
Join us for MnTC’s annual Golf Classic at Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wisconsin. Come as an individual or as part of a foursome and spend a day on the greens with other golfers supporting the work of MnTC!
Join us for our Second Annual Walk for Hope and NEW THIS YEAR Kaleidoscope 5K Fun Run. The Kaleidoscope 5K Fun Run will feature stations along the route where runners are "doused" with safe Corn Starch based colored power and end up the run covered in COLOR!! The Walk/Run will benefit the Central MN Adult & Teen Challenge in Brainerd and take place on the Baxter trail system. The Walk will have options of 1½ miles, 3½ miles and five mile routes. Experience a program and performance by the MnTC Choir; Walk with friends; Win cool prizes; Help people!
Join us for an evening with friends and family as we celebrate the residents at Minnesota Teen Challenge! Our 4th annual Mankato Gala will feature dinner, program and a silent auction with over 100 items.
Our annual Walk for Hope is a great event for the whole family! Your kids (or you!) can take advantage of free face painting, cotton candy, art easels, balloon art and bean bag toss before or after the 5k walk in the park. Before the walk, we provide a picnic lunch and music by New Creation; then join us after for the program, and performance by the MnTC Choir. Help MnTC by finding sponsors for your walk or join a fundraising team to win cool prizes! NEW this year we will have a BOUNCE HOUSE & INFLATABLE SLIDE!!

This year our featured guest speaker is Dick Beardsley, Grandma's Marathon record holder and National Distance Running Hall of Fame Honoree. On the 4th find activities at the Brainerd High School Football Field, world-class fireworks, and of course the unforgettable parade through Brainerd!
MnTC Galas are, in many ways, our favorite events of the year. Our Minneapolis, Mankato, and Northland Galas all feature a dinner, great guest speakers, a raffle, silent auction, and performance by the MnTC choir along with special guest soloists.
